Walking and Chips.

At the weekend some old friends of the family came to stay, they came from Jersey for the weekend and on one of the days that they were here we went for a nice long walk around the dam. It was lovely to see them as they are like family to us and as we were out I thought that the atmosphere looked very photogenic (if that's even a thing!) and i decided to take advantage and write a blog post for you all!

I thought this shot was interesting, I actually took all of these photos on my i phone and because of the automatic settings it takes awesome pictures like this one! I was actually walking along whilst taking this one but it syill managed to focus! Awesome!

Classic looking up...

What's under there?

Paddling ...

And everyone's favorite...

And this is the reaction at the end of the day, waiting outside the chip shop for the carb overload that we were about to indulge in :D After eating we grabbed a bar of chocolate and jumped back in the car!

I am very tall.

In case you did not know, I am 6ft1. Yes I know, tall, but the amount of people who still look up at me and say that the weather must be different up there is unreal. I know i'm tall ok, and I am proud of it! But in case your not tall, just wondering what its like or can completely relate, here's 10 facts of being the tallest in the class!

1. People will ALWAYS comment on it.
Weather its in a good way or a bad way, you aren't going to shrink, so those comments will keep coming all your life.

2. Comments can be good!
I have received so many lovely 'wow you should be a model!' comments, and its lovely to hear!

3. You HAVE to stand tall.
Slumping is not a good look for a tall girlie, stand tall and the compliments will come rolling in!

3.Shoes are going to be hard.
One of the downsides of being tall is the shoe size that comes with it! I am a size 10, occasionally 9 and I struggle to find the nicest shoes! Fortunately some high street stores have relatively recently started stocking size 9s though!

4.Partners...
Well for personal preference, I prefer taller guys, but it isn't always that easy as most of the guys in my year are shorter that me! I thinks its perfectly fine for your partner to be any size to be honest!  GO EQUALITY!

5.Low Door Frames/Ceilings can be a problem.
Like, WTF even is that. Haha!

6. You Probably Cant Even Fit In your Own Bed!
Yes, this is super annoying and I have an extra ling IKEA one! The same problem also applies for baths, this is even more annoying as you cant be completely immersed and you end up either having freezing knees or shoulders!

7. Concerts and shows = being shouted at to get out the way.
I'm sorry but, I was born tall and I am NOT about to forfeit my place at the front of the venue just for that! Sorry, you will have to go find another person to push out the way, cuz' I aint movin'!

8.The comment "have you grown?" is permanently implanted in your skull.
Because every time you see someone even if you only saw them yesterday, are bound to say it.

9.Short Girls looking for tall guys will Kill you Inside!
Nahhhhhhhh Bitch he cant even see you!

10.Are you a model? No. YOU SHOULD BE! No. Oh come onnn! NO!!!
Is Baisically My life.

So there is some super relate able facts about being tall, Thanks for reading!

February Favorites

Jack Wills Mini Bag -
This is in my favorites because it is the best thing for keeping hair grips/bobbles/clips in without loosing them! It has definitely been a handbag staple since I got it!

Bourjois Happy Light Primer -
It's actually my first primer, so I guess primers are good then! It obviously makes makeup apply so much better and I luvs it!

Quay Sunglasses -
I bought these back in December at the Clothes Show Live. They were only £12 and I just love them! The stuff they are made from is so cool! not hard plastic really, like soft and almost fuzzy!

Zoeva Rose Gold Brushes -
Silk Finish, Wing Liner, Soft Definer
These are my favorite three brushes, Wing Liner brush I actually use for eye shadow liner but the other two are so amazing at blending! Foundation applies like a dream with silk finish and Soft definer honestly makes my eye shadow look so much more pretty!

Fangirl -
This book is great, I am only half way through but the main character basically describes me! Maybe not the crazy fangirling but the constant typing away at a keyboard? I have that down!

Soap and Glory Archery Eyebrow Shaper -
I only started filly my eyebrows in recently but I love the effect! It makes my face look so different and I love it! The felt tip part sounds scary to start with but once you master the tiny strokes and filling in little areas you will rock it!
