So I am currently in the midst of moving house, It is so strange to know that I will never sleep in the same house again, I have slept in my new house for two days now but there is still ALOT to do and it is really quite stressful as I have tons on homework to do (should probably be doing that now!) but as a family we're getting on with it! My sister is struggling most, she has so many friends on the road we're on and although we are not moving out of the area we are changing road and moving far out and they don't go to the same school :( poor Amie :( But anyways the new house is gorgeous, and in a lovely area! I will take some pictures and do a blog post on that soon!

So I decided to call this post little steps because although it ties in perfectly with moving house, it also ties in perfectly with \how I want to work this blog. I am SO grateful to be getting all this support from you all and it's crazy how I have already meat so many awesome people just bu doing this blog! So that's how I hope it carry's on, in little steps hopefully this blog will grow and I will be able to fulfill my dream which is to travel and share it with all of you! But it is important you know,I don't do this for the followers and although I am EXTREMELY grateful for you guys I would still do it even if I only had one viewer. Each and every one means so much to me because you are helping me turn my dream into reality, all in little steps!

Quirky storage ideas!

Hi everyone!

(here's to a repost from my old blog!)

I have always been one for the out there, crazy, storage ideas and have used so many things for an alternative purpose! From biscuit tins for paint brushes to Milkshake cups for lipsticks! I definitely like to think of myself as a creative person and am constantly trying to think of cute things to add to my bedroom. 

My bedrooms quite small so the more tightly packed the better! I definitely loved Zoella's ideas for makeup

 and jewelry but I have decided to expand that and just make it for everything! From clothes to toe rings! 

These are not my pictures but I loved 'em so thanks to the awesome pinteresting (deffo a good word) people who did these!

I like to think that when I buy my own house it will be full of secrets! Little hiding places and tiny hidden boxes all over! I love the idea of having little things only special people know about, or only you, its just super cuute!

Single of the week- Rude by Magic!

Hi Everyone!

So for some time now I have been trying hard to get myself into new and intriguing bands and not just sticking to samey samey music, I must say, I love it! I love the fact that outside the box music expresses SO much more feeling and although I cant lie, I love a little bit of Katy Perry (especially 'This is how we do') The refreshingness (No, It's not a real word :D) of 'Magic!' is crazy, I found them out a while ago and completely fell in love with 'Rude' and when I found the rest of their songs I loved them even more!  

But since it's got into the charts I have heard it WAY too much, it really annoys me how the overplay the same song and usually it ruins the whole song forever for me but with this one, it's different. After I heard it a few times on the radio I stopped listening to it for a while, just so that I wouldn't get fed up but when I started listening to it again yesterday I have quite literally non-stopped listened to it since then. I wish I could say I was joking but I'm totally sad and I'm listening to it on repeat even now! That's how much I love your music Magic! 

So the song is about (if you didn't already know) a guy who want's to marry a girl and he has to ask her old fashioned dad for his blessing for the marriage, but his "answer is no!" so he vows to "marry her anyway". It's the CUTEST song ever and I competely love it! I cant even fault the video as although some would say its lazy, I just think it's great, so cute! Deffo my favorite song of the moment.  

So I really recommend listening if you haven't already, because if their music isn't enough, their faces sure will be ;)

Deadly Reservoir!

Hello Everybody!

Yesterday, me and my friend Hannah took a long walk to a reservoir, it was really beautiful scenery and the perfect place to just get away, it really cleared our heads and definitely woke me up a bit after a really tiring summer and I now feel super ready to get back to school for year 11! Here are a few pictures from the day!  

(The reason we called this the deadly reservoir, it said all sorts like there were deadly gasses and algae! we soon decided against the romantic boat ride idea we had for our future boyfriends!)

I really needed a break as things are kind of stressful at the moment and this really worked!

Motivational Monday #2

Fancy a nice little Motivational Monday?

My good friends, I would like to say that I have high expectations for my life and there's a lot I am planning. Firstly, I want to start a youtube channel because of all the new people I could meet, secondly, I want to travel, that's just my DREAM. This quote rings SO true for me because I don't tend to get out much, I pretty much live on my sofa eating and watching films :D Not that that's so bad sometimes but I feel like to archive my goals I am going to have to get off my arse and do something about it, which is exactly what i'm doing lately. I have plans to visit Jersy and Spain in the summer of year eleven and when I turn eighteen I will be hoping to get placed working on an american summer camp which will be totally brillopads! I also get out alot more with friends and family and no longer let anxiety hold me back!

So after lots of deliberation to actually do something, I did, and so should you! It makes you feel SO much better and just going on a walk and getting some fresh air makes you feel lovely! I don't know about you but being stuck inside all day actually makes me feel really drab and sometimes a bit ill so its great to know all i need is a bit of fresh air! 

Im pretty sure if your reading this you are a lot like me, always on your laptop or phone and it seems fresh air is good medicine!

Well that went on a tangent didn't it! Haha!

Motivational Monday #1

Well hi there!

Sometimes, when we're feeling down we need something that will just put a smile to our faces. In this post I aim put a smile on as many peoples faces as possible. And sometimes, when everything seems to be going wrong, you just have to (in the nicest possible way) deal with it.(with some friendly help of course!) This may sound harsh but I've learned that only you can put a smile back on your face and if you are not willing for it to make an appearance then you can't expect someone else to bring it out for you.

Don't get me wrong, a bit of comfort can be the best thing in the world but some people just wont take it and in that case, its a problem you have to deal with, so do! 

Only you can.

As the lovely Marilyn put, 

''Sometimes good things fall apart, so better things can fall together.''

This is probably the truest thing I have read all day and in a whole lot of situations in my life I wish I could have seen this. So many friend fall outs and tiny little things that felt like the end of the world at the time, were actually just a whole new beginning for something better to come up. At the time of the ''end of the world situation''  just remember this and pick yourself up and just carry on, because something better will come up and its (most likely) not the worst thing that could have happened. 

Just remember, some people have to deal with unimaginable happenings, but they do, so can you.

A Travel Bucket List #1

Heeeyyy everyone!

So, sorry its been a while! One has bees vehr busy with exams and all but anyway today I would like to have a chat about my dream, to travel the world. This has been my dream since I was 9 and my reasoning was, how can I die without seeing everything? That was nicely put by Leonardo!

But, that's not the only reason. The thought of meeting all the new people, experiencing new cultures and seeing all the attractions just kills me with excitement and I will do absolutely ANYTHING to get to the point when I can!

So, I thought I would show you some of the places I would really like to visit and explore! I always enjoy looking through travel blogs at where people have been and are going so I thought I would give what I love :)

Today I figured I would do a little music post. I want to show you all some of my favorite CD's, by no means is this the extent of my favorites but I found some the other day and thought it fitting to show you all!

THE SELDOM SEEN KID

To be honest, All the elbow albums are amazing, they have such an emotional level to them which REALLY gets to me! I was introduced to this band by my parents who love them too! Its hard to describe their music whilst doing justice so I recommend just listening to them for a while! Its great!! here are some of my favorite songs from the album: Mirrorball, One Day Like This, Weather To Fly.

~Scissor Sisters~

Well don't they just speak for themselves? If  'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' Didn't get you then 'Take Your Mama' was sure to! It's such a fun and catchy album and It just makes me want to dance! In fact I cant listen to it without throwing my arms up in the air and singing like a loon! 

~Jake Bugg~

Considering he only started recording from such a young age, I think it's incredible the kind of music this amazingly talented guy has produced! I am totally in love with the style and his voice is so unique! 'Lightning Bolt' is an obvious favorite but I also love 'Trouble Town' and 'Seen it All'. I feel like these ones have really personal messages and they are such a treat to listen to!

I have SO much respect for this girl, I don't usually listen to X-factor singers but I feel like she really deserves it! She has such a unique and strong voice and Is utterly BEAUTIFUL! It really surprised me to find out that she threatened to leave SYCO music if she couldn't write her own music! Good for you Rebecca! You go glen coco!!

READY FOR THIS?

This album is probably one of the most hilarious albums in the world! Tim Minchen is basically an Australian guy who is incredible an the piano and writes some seriously funny songs! There's no way to describe his style apart from 'comedy' it is just the best! However I wouldn't recommend it to really young readers as it can be quite rude! But, some advice is, to stick to the end of the song that you hear, it may sound bad at first but believe me, It WILL have a deeper meaning!

FAVORITE BAND ALERT!!!

These guys aren't well known, or even well liked but they are absolutely freaking

brilliant! So feelgood and they have beautiful voices! They are Aussies so have that little beachy vibe to their songs which as you probably have worked out, I am in love with! Stella, is in my opinion one of the best songs ever written, not for the lyrics but for the relate-ability and feel goodness :) Just check them out, please! If there was any band I could recommend more I would just be dead :D
